The number of illegals arrested while trying to cross the southern U.S. border has plummeted to levels not seen since the early 1970s, according to a report released by the Department of Homeland Security.
The number of illegal immigrants arrested at the border has been dropping over the past few years but appears to be down by more than 25 percent in 2011, just as the President’s reelection campaign was gearing up.
